Akshay Kumar welcomes flying of National Flag in Central University

Akshay Kumar, Bollywood actor is happy on Modi government's decision of central universities hoisting the national flag in their campuses.

He took to Twitter to express his delight on the same and is happy with the idea of a waving flag across the country

"Totally with d decision of d Tricolor being hoisted at all Central Universities & why not as it brings out d best in us, inspires us 2 soar high," he tweeted.

Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani recently said that all central universities will fly the national flag on a 207 foot high mast at a prominent place on their campuses.

Akshay Kumar has been in patriotic mode on screen as well recently, in January release Airlift where he played Ranjit Katiyal.

He has also spoken out against remarks of intolerance and has supported the government. He was also recently seen at the inauguration of the International Fleet Review.
