Anu Lather, Vice-Chancellor of Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) wants to initiate new education courses while changing the admission rules from cutoff based admission to the entrance based admission. Aside from this she also wants to work on social media awareness. Among the new courses, she is looking it includes both bachelors and master's degrees in social work, as well as an MBA in digital marketing, business analytics, and social media landscape. She further informed that placement will be their main priority. The varsity has already decided to hire full-time training and placement officers for better placement results.
She said that the placements will be more planned and they will focus on identifying the right job profiles and sectors for the students. The varsity will focus on creating a need and niche area for the students. A centralised placement training cell will be set up at the varsity along with a placement officer which will provide students with the right guidance and training.
The AUD has been deliberating ongoing entrance exams in the university for all the UG and PG courses in the coming years. According to her, the entrance exam will help them get appropriate students for the course. As of now, the admissions are on the basis of CBSE merit.

Some of the new courses that will be introduced in the university are MBA in Digital Marketing, Bachelors in Social Work, Master's in Social Work, Social Media Landscape and Business Analytics. All these are trending course and will be helpful for the students in the long-run
