The Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Public Exams successfully concluded on 16-March-2016. Students came out of the exam hall happy and enjoyed the moment of completion of examinations. The examinations began on 2-March-2016 and continued till 16-March-2016.
This year more than 6,00,000 students attended the examinations.
The exams went smoothly. Around 25 students were booked under malpractice and debarred for 3 years. The Convener of Krishna District said that, “This year the malpractices were regulated and examinations were conducted in a strict and stringent manner. Two invigilators were appointed per 40 students for the smooth conduction of the exam".
The final year inter students looked desperate as they have to attend EAMCET coaching in their colleges from 21-March-2016. They do not have sufficient holidays as the colleges are gearing up for rigorous coaching for EAMCET. They opined that the colleges would conduct full day coaching classes.
Raja, a final year inter student opined that, “The heat wave in the state has been increasing gradually and the temperature reached 41 degrees on 15-March-2016. But however these students will be getting 3 months holidays after EAMCET.
The private colleges are also planning to conduct classes for the students who completed their first year during summer. These students too will not get sufficient summer vacation. Most of the students felt that they couldn’t sit in the classes during the month of April and May as there would be more heat wave. But parents are interested to send their children to summer classes to prevent wastage of time.
The government directed private colleges not to conduct classes during summer. But these orders are not being implemented properly every year.
