ANU Pharma College Organize National Seminar
The pharma college of Acharya Nagarjuna University organized a two-day national seminar on ‘Trends in Pharma research and role of Software Applications’. The seminar was inaugurated on 28-March-2016. The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. D.V.Narayana, the member of Indian Pharma Congress Association along with university Vice Chancellor Dr.Rajendra Prasad.
Addressing the students, the chief guest said, “Around 45,000 samples of drugs were surveyed in 676 districts of India and the result revealed that 344 drugs have side effects”. He also mentioned that “If a student can possess all the basic skills, he/she would excel in any field”. He motivated the students to give importance to the practical research rather than reading books. He opined that these seminars will enable the students to develop new ideas and research abilities in the field.
Around 67 delegates and professors from various universities attended the seminar to present their papers on the theme of the seminar. Students also presented their papers on the second day of the seminar.
The seminar was attended by the college principal, Prameela Rani, Former VC, Dr. Vienna Rao, eminent scholars, faculty, students, print and electronic media.
