Assam 12th Grading System 2023: Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will be releasing Assam 12th Result 2023 for the Science, Arts and Commerce on June 6. Students who have appeared for the Assam HS exam 2023, must get accustomed to the Assam 12th Grading System 2023 to know about who secured first, second, and third divisions in the examinations. The students will be rewarded grades and divisions based on the Assam 12th Grading System 2023 set by AHSEC. It must be kept in mind that in order to pass the Assam HS Board exams 2023, students have to score 30% marks in each subject as well as in aggregate marks. The minimum passing marks for the subjects with practicals are 30% for the theory and 40% for the practical. Each paper carries 100 marks, and students have to appear for a total of 6 subjects. The marks of 5 best subjects will be considered while preparing the Assam 12th Result 2023. This year, the Assam 12th exam 2023 was conducted from February 20, 2023 to March 20, 2023 in an offline mode.

The Assam 12th grading system 2023 has been tabulated below for the students to check:

Students who will score 80% or above will be awarded a "Distinction" division. Those who will secure 60% or above will pass in first division, and if scored between 45% and 59% marks they will pass in the second division.

The maximum marks for all the subjects are 100, out of which 70 marks are allotted for the theoretical part, and the practical part carries the remaining 30 marks. Students have to achieve the below-mentioned minimum qualifying marks separately in theory/ written examination and practical examination.
