Bennett University & Cornell Law School Collaborate for Ivy League BBA + LLB Programme

Bennett University (BU), Greater Noida has entered into an agreement with Cornell Law School to offer 5-year long Ivy League BBA + LLB programme to the students. Cornell Law Scholl, USA is a part of Cornell University located in Ithaca, New York.

University’s 5- year BBA + LLB honors programme will give international exposure to the students and hence will have a competitive edge over similar courses.

The BBA programme will be offered in association with Johnson Cornell and the LLB programme will be offered in association with Cornell Law School.

A visit to Cornell University for a 1-week immersion programme is being included in the curriculum designed by Johnson Cornell and Cornell Law School. This will give an opportunity to the students to learn from the faculty at both schools. The tie-up will lead the students to generate creative start- up ideas at Bennett Hatchery set up in collaboration with Babson Global, USA.

Bennett University started its operations in the year 2016, founded by The Times of India Group, with the promise of making students “life and career ready”. The university offers programmes in Engineering, Management, Media and Law disciplines.

VC Vivekanandan has been appointed as the founder dean by Bennett University for its School of Law starting June 2017. He started his teaching career with NLSIU Bangalore and he has also been the dean of Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law at IIT Kharagpur. Focus areas of his teaching and research are Internet Law, IPR, Law, Artificial Intelligence and Entertainment Law. He has a teaching and research experience of more than two decades in legal education.
