CLAT 2018, a national-level law entrance test for the admission to National Law Universities (NLUs) was conducted on May 13, 2018.

After taking the CLAT 2018 exam, students expressed their anguish over the faulty exam management system and poor facilities in the exam centres. Many candidates pointed that the exam authority charged Rs. 4,000 towards application fee and yet failed to provide minimum facilities to students in the exam centres. Even though there were technical glitches in a few centres, students did their best with an objective to secure good scores in CLAT 2018.

Some aspirants indicated the difficulty level of CLAT was higher than last year. In many centres, the exam was halted for a few minutes due to technical glitches. In all, improper exam management affected the concentration of candidates during the exam. Check detailed CLAT 2018 Exam Analysis here.

CLAT score is acceptable for the admission to both UG and PG law courses. Colleges accepting CLAT 2018 score grant admission to students based on their score and merit rank in the entrance test. After taking the exam on May 13, students felt that the difficulty level of CLAT 2018 was moderate. However, poor facilities in the exam centres irked the students. This year, CLAT was conducted by National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi.

Experts and students are expecting a higher cut-off for the top three law schools. As per experts, the CLAT cut-offfor top law schools might be above 130.

According to experts, Numerical Ability was the toughest section this year. The questions were lengthy and consumed a lot of time. The difficulty level of current affairs/ general knowledge section was partially moderate.
