CLAT 2020 has activated the DOB correction window on September 24, 2020. Candidates can rectify their date of birth details on the CLAT Application Form until September 26, 2020. The CLAT Admit Card has already been released on September 15, 2020. Candidates will have to log in to the official website of CLAT and download the admit card. CLAT 2020 will be held on September 28, 2020, in the centre-based online mode from 2 pm to 4 pm. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be conducted on September 7, 2020, but was postponed due to COVID-19.

CLAT is conducted for candidates seeking admission in undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes such as BA LLB,BBA LLB,B.Com LLB, B.Sc LLB, five-year integrated, and LLM law courses offered at 21 NLUs now as NLU Bangalore conducted its own exam NLAT 2020 and has opted out of the CLAT consortium. CLAT scores are also accepted by NMIMS-Mumbai, UPES Dehradun, Institute of Law, Nirma University Ahmedabad.

The Consortium of NLUs had further revised the exam pattern and announced that the exam will be conducted through a computer-based, online, centre-based mode. A Consortium of NLUs headed by National Law School of India University conducts the national level popular law examination CLAT on a yearly basis.
