COMEDK Round 1 seat allotment 2021 has been released on November 29, and the Round 1 cutoff/ closing ranks are now available. The closing ranks for certain colleges went up to 43,000. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning had a decent number of takers in Round 1 followed by Computer Science & Engineering. Candidates with a rank up to 42,000 were able to secure admission in CSE in Round 1 counselling. The approximate opening rank of a college was 225 for CSE as per Round 1 cutoff. The Round 1 seat acceptance process of COMED 2021 counselling started on November 29, and the last date to confirm the admission is December 1. On the other hand, the last date for reporting is December 3.
Candidates who had secured seats in Round 1 counselling will have four options viz., Accept & Freeze, Accept & Upgrade, Reject & Upgrade and Reject & Withdraw. Candidates selecting the first option, i.e., Accept & Freeze will have to pay the tuition fee.

The dates for COMEDK 2021 Round 2 counselling will be notified after December 5 based on the vacant seats available. Candidates who had paid the admission fee must be in touch with the respective college for dates pertaining to the commencement of the academic session.
