Convocation at Chalapathi Pharmacy College
Chalapathi Pharmacy College organized 1st convocation on 6-May-2016. This is the first convocation since the establishment of college. The convocation day was celebrated in a grand manner at college auditorium. The chief guest of the occasion was Minster of Social Welfare, Mr. Ravela Kishore Babu. He inaugurated the celebrations by lightening the lamp along with college principal, Dr. Nadendla Ramarao. Later college principal presented the welcome address.
Addressing the students the chief guest spoke that, “Pharmacy students must work for the welfare of the society by coming up with new innovations and research activities. There are lots of employment opportunities in Pharmacy field. There will be a lot of scope for Pharmacy in the coming years at new capital of Andhra Pradesh. Students have to set a role model for their life, so that they could reach the goal by taking role model as inspiration. Pharmacy students must participate in more number of research activities for the development of knowledge as well as welfare of the society”. Later he awarded the students with degree original certificates.
College principal said that, “The College assures guarantee placements to the students. The college has recorded a pass percentage of 97 in B. Pharmacy. The college has excellent and dedicated faculty who always work for the welfare of the students”.
Special cash prizes were given for the most outstanding students of the college. The celebrations ended with Vote of Thanks delivered by college principal.
