The Central University of South Bihar has started 5 new proposed courses from today i.e 28th March 2016. The online application process to the new master of education (MEd), master of law (LLM), and Ph.D. programmes of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) have started from today.

The VC of CUSB Mr Harish Chandra Singh Rathore has informed ‘The varsity decided to launch the new masters and Ph.D. programmes so as to open the job market for students.’

However, the big contribution to the university would be the launch of the Ph.D. programme. The Central University of South Bihar offers sixteen PG courses such as biotechnology, bioinformatics, mathematics, economics, international relations and, political science among others.

All these PG courses will also have Ph.D. programmes. As very few Bihar universities offer Ph.D. programmes according to the year 2009 ‘Mungekar committee’, necessitated for university teachers, the Doctorate course will largely benefit the students.
