The University of Delhi has begun the application process for foreign nationals who seek admission in the prestigious university. DU admissions for foreign students 2018 are now open who wish to apply for undergraduate, postgraduate, Ph.D., M.Phil, certificate, advanced diploma or diploma courses.
Interested candidates will have to apply through the official website of Delhi University. Applications for all courses will have to be filled through the single admission portal of DU. Delhi University cut-offs will be announced before the admissions for foreign nationals are concluded. Check the details of DU admission process for foreign nationals below.
DU Admissions for Foreign Nationals Selection Criteria 2018:
- Foreign students will be exempted from entrance exam for admission to all professional programmes like BBE, BMS, BBA (FIA), MFA, M.Ed., B.Ed., B.Sc (PE, HE & S, B.A Music and other UG and PG courses for which DU usually conducts admission on the basis of entrance exam.
- Foreign students will not be admitted beyond 10% of the total strength of the respective department even if they are eligible according to the criteria set by DU.
- Admission of foreign students to Ph.D. and M.Phil courses is done on the basis of their proposed area research. No interview or entrance is conducted for the same. Students for such courses are selected by the Department Research Committee (DRC).
- Applicants are assessed on the basis of their merit, number of seats available, and eligibility criteria proposed by the respective department.
