The Delhi University ECA Final Trials will also include certificate evaluation. Candidates will be required to carry their original cultural certificates (only) pertaining to the sub-category they are shortlisted for. they will also be required to carry the self-attested photocopies of the same.
Meanwhile, the Delhi University 5th cutoff will be announced shortly.
Delhi University reserves 5% of supernumerary seats for the students who excelled in extracurricular activities like debate, theatre, music, dance and any of the 12 ECA categories recognised by the varsity. This year, around 1,100 students have made it to the merit list after the two rounds of trials. According to sources, over 120 students have made it to Indian Classical Dance merit list while English Debate list featured the names of 110 candidates. However, not all the candidates in the merit list will get admission to UG courses.
Last year, 865 students secured a seat under ECA category, and the number is expected to be increased to 900 this year. Students whose names were featured in the merit list can visit the colleges of their choice and register for admission.
