The National Board of Examination has released a notification announcing the rescheduling of the DNB final examinations (theory) which were supposed to be held on 13th, 14th and 15th December 2019. The board adds that the rescheduled dates will be announced soon.
Keeping in mind the recent turn of event in the state of Assam, the National Board of Examinations (NBE), has rescheduled the DNB examinations, which had earlier been scheduled to be held on the next three days. The Board has released an official notification regarding the same, where the exam dates have been postponed, however, the rescheduled days are yet to be announced.
As per the previous schedule, the Board had scheduled the DNB (Diplomate of National Board) final theory examinations on 13th, 14th and 15th December 2019. The exam had been scheduled to be conducted at Gauhati Medical College Guwahati, on the stipulated dates. However, with the predominant law and order currently present in the city has resulted in the rescheduling of the dates.
In the notification released by the National Board of Examinations, they have mentioned that the finalised and rescheduled dates for the DNB Final Theory Exams are yet to be announced. All the rescheduled dates will be released and published in due time.

However, the delay in the examinations will only affect the Guwahati exam centre for DNB, the notification added. All other centres across India will conduct the exam according to the aforementioned dates.

Along with the Final Theory Exams for DNB being postponed, various Universities and educational institutions have also rescheduled their exam dates. Dibrugarh University, Cotton University and Gauhati University, have postponed their exams which had been scheduled to be conducted till 16th December 2019. The Universities and Institutions that have rescheduled the dates are yet to announce the revised exam date sheet.
