Cotton University was transformed for Cotton College in the year 2017, after which a huge number of developments have been made in case of infrastructure, academics, cultural section, sports category etc. With Cotton University's participation in AIU Competitions many awards have come to the institution. Beside this Cotton University carriers a historical place in the state, being the first collage of NorthEast India it has produced many famous faces over the years. The faculties of the Cotton University are very knowledgeable and helpful towards students both in academics, providing internships and student exchange programs. With construction of new laboratory and research facilities the micro fellowship program has become easy for the students. Other than this many workshops are also organised by the University authorities as well
