The 7th Annual Function “Arpan-2016” a cultural programme was organised in the premises of DPG Group of Institutes, Sector-34 Gurgaon with great enthusiasm. The cultural programme is organised every year on 8th February, in the profound memory of the founder of the college, Late Shri Jai Singh Gahlot.
The programme was celebrated with great prompt show in which the chief geust Sh. Ranjiv Singh Dalal, IPS, DGP of Haryana (Retd) gave an innovation speech along with other dignitaries. Sh. Gopi Chand Gahlot Ji (Ex. Deputy Speaker, Haryana Vidhan Sabha), Sh Rajender Singh Ji (Chairman of Trust), Sh. Rishipal Ji (Managing Director), Sh. Deepak Gahlot Ji (Vice-Chairman), Sh. Bijender Gahlot (Secretary), Sh. Om Prakash Gahlot (Trustee), Sh. Surender Gahlot (Trustee), Sh. Virender Singh (Trustee), Sh. Narender Gahlot and other members of management were the other guest of honour.
The programme was inaugurated by the guest of honour Sh. Ranjiv Singh Dalal and Sh. K.S. Dhaka with the lighting of the lamp. The girls of B.Ed. College welcomed the guests by a welcome song.
Next mesmerising performance was given by Madhu, student of B.Tech on the beats of Classical Music. The other performance of cultural programme were Haryanvi Dance by the students of C.P.S.M. College of B.Ed./D.Ed., HIP-HOP Free Style Dance and Punjabi Dance by the students of DPG Polytechnic, Robotic Dance, Marathi and Bollywood Dance by the students of DPG Degree College, Duet Song by the students of DPG ITM.
The Principal of various colleges gave the annual report of the various achievements of their respective colleges. The Principal of CPSM College of Education Dr. R.K. Bhakar, The Principal of DPG Polytechnic Col. K.S. Thakran, The Principal of DPG ITM (Engg. College), Dr. Prahlad Singh and The Principal of DPG Degree College Dr. S.S. Boken gave the annual report of the achievements of their respective colleges.
In the end, of the students of annual sports meet and toppers in academics were given trophies and certificates for their achievements in various fields. The chief guest congratulated all the achievers for their achievements and blessed them for a successful career. Sh. Gopi Chand Gahlot Ji and Sh. Om Prakash Gahlot Ji thanked the guest of honour by presenting them with mementos and shawls and thanked them for devoting their precious time to the institution. The Annual Day ended with the National Anthem.
