The Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra has released the Polytechnic CAP Round 1 seat allotment 2022 today, and the direct link to check admission status can be accessed here or by visiting the official website poly22.dte.maharashtra.gov.in. There are certain instructions that the candidates must follow after checking the Maharashtra Polytechnic Seat Allotment 2022. Primarily, the candidates will have to verify all their details, accept the seat and pay the seat acceptance fee. The candidates must note that the seat allocated as per the first choice of candidates will be auto-freeze, and those candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee and complete the admission formalities.

Note: Candidates who do not respond to the seat allotment with acceptance, or do not report to the institute, their candidature will be cancelled, and will not be considered eligible for CAP Round 2. 

Seat Acceptance & Reporting Process for Maharashtra Polytechnic CAP Round 1

Here are some essential points to know about the seat acceptance process and reporting to the allotted institutes after the DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment 2022 declaration: 

• In Round 1 of the seat allotment, candidates will be allotted seats as per their first preferences. Candidates must accept the seat and proceed with the documents verification process and pay the admission fee. If candidates fail to accept the seat allotment, they will not be eligible for Round 2 of the seat allotment. 
• If candidates are not allotted their first preference, candidates will have the opportunity to freeze their seats. Candidates may either accept and proceed with the admission process or accept any request for upward change if any vacancy is available. In either case, candidates must complete the documents verification and admission fee payment. 
• Candidates will also have the chance to make any rectifications in the application form before accepting the seat. Candidates must raise the concern through the login-portal grievance or physical mode.
• Further, after seat acceptance, candidates must report to the allotted centers to complete the document verification. Candidates must carry their original and photocopied documents for completing the document verification. 
• The institute will verify the documents and update them through the institute login portal, after which candidates must pay the admission fees to confirm their seats.
