Delhi University has come up with a new process for Internal Assessment, Viva Voice, Practical, Internship, Filed Work, Moot Courts, etc due to the lockdown. The new internal assessment process will only be applicable for the current semester.
Delhi University has come up with a new process for Internal Assessment, Viva Voice, Practical, Internship, Filed Work, Moot Courts, etc. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the university is closed and it was important to come up with an online process. The changes introduced in the internal assessment will be effective only for the current semester
For the current semester, there will be only one component. i.e. internal assignments instead of three components of internal assessment which includes class tests, attendance, tutorial tests. The internal assessment for the current semester will be done using IT tools. DU teachers had to give assignments to students through email and students will submit the same via email.
Students will be given full attendance in the internal assessment due to the lockdown and it will benefit all the students while calculating the Internal Assessment for each paper as per the distribution of marks.
For courses which include a practical component, the evaluation will be done in the 100% continuous evaluation mode. Courses which include lab papers teachers will give assignment on the basis of Experiments already performed via email to the students and students will submit the solved assignments through email only.
Meanwhile, for final and intermediate semester/term/ yearly students of all technical and professional courses, activities such as practicals, viva-voice, moot court examinations will be conducted through meeting apps like Skype.
