Students of IIM Indore recently celebrated the tradition of Durga Puja, a legacy which is maintained over years. The whole campus was seen in a festive mood with Navratri, Durga Puja and Dussehra.
Starting with Navratri, all the students and the faculty members with their families gathered in the main ground which was decorated beautifully for Dandiya night. Clad in traditional Garba costume, they danced on the music by the DJ invited on the campus.
The students, faculty members and the purohit gave the puja offerings for 5 days from October 18 to 22.
Dussehra was celebrated in the football ground by burning effigy of Ravan to celebrate the victory of good over evil.
The students of foreign exchange programme were mesmerised with the festive season and came forward to celebrate as one of us.The festival brought the whole campus together and installed positivity among the students to move on with their academic schedule.
