“7,330 scholars who have passed their final examinations of different courses during the last two sessions would receive their degrees. More than 450 scholars, who have already registered themselves for the convocation, would receive their degrees in person” said Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) VC AK Agrawal.
AKU is going to hold its annual convocation on Saturday i.e. 19th March’16 at S K Memorial Hall, Patna.
19 toppers of engineering, medical, management and other courses will receive gold medals at the convocation. And 12 of those toppers are girls.
The chief guest of the event will be the Governor-cum-chancellor Ram Nath Kovind and the guest of honor of the event will be the education minister Ashok Kumar Chaudhary.
"The university has been imparting education to the students in medical, engineering, management, nursing, pharmacy and education streams," said registrar Ajay Pratap Singh.
AKU is the state's only professional university which has more than 80 government and private technical institutions under its jurisdiction, with an enrolment of over 25,000 students.
