Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University is going to organize its 30th Annual Convocation on 24th October 2015 at Anna Auditorium, VIT, Vellore Campus. The event will start from 9:30 am onward.
Dr. C.Rangarajan will be the chief guest and he will also inaugurate the 500 KW Solar Power Plant. The guest of honour will be Shri. Debashis Chatterjee & Dr. G.Viswanathan will be presiding the Event.
“You all are welcome to this event, bring this invitation with you when you come. All the guests are requested to be in their seats by 9:30 am. As you all know that convocation is a solemn ceremony so, we are requesting all of you that please maintain silence. Children under the age of 10 are not allowed. All of you are requested to stand when the academic procession enters the Auditorium & remain standing until the Chancellor takes his seat. After the Convocation is finished, all of you are requested to stand in their places until the dignitaries leave the venue. Don’t use your mobile phones as they are not permitted in the venue. Please keep your mobile phones off. Photography & Videography are also not allowed for outsiders. The University has made suitable arrangements,” said a press release from the University.
