Shiv Nadar University announced that The School of Management & Entrepreneurship is going to host MOQSH, the annual Management Fest, starting October 17, 2015.
Organized by the SNU MBA classes of 2016 & 2017, the Annual Management Symposium aims to bring together students and industry experts from all over the country. MOQSH is structured around various competitive events, where students display their competence in the fields of Finance, Marketing, Strategy and Innovation. Renowned faculty members and industry experts like D.K. Mittal, Member of Board of Directors at Airtel; R Anand, Vice President - HR at HCL and Indrajit Sen, Founder, Mosaik Global/Former Global Head of Talent Acquisition at Aricent will engage with the students during this two-day fest.
MOQSH is an initiative of the Shiv Nadar University Management students to bring together the best minds in the field of management for a two-day session. More than 450 teams from 80 different colleges registered for the event and only 25 teams were selected for the finals. The finalists were shortlisted from the top B Schools across the country after an online selection test, which was organized on October 3, 2015. The participating students belong to institutions like XLRI; XIMB; Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi; IIT Kharagpur; Nirma University; MDI Gurgaon; Symbiosis Pune; Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi; IFMR; LM Thapar School of Management, et al. The selected students will stay at the University campus for this two day fest.
Explaining the objective of the Management Fest 2015, Dr. Shubhro Sen, Director, School of Entrepreneurship and Managementsaid, “Every business organization, irrespective of its size, requires managers who can deal with challenging problems in unpredictable environments and those skills cannot be taught in classrooms alone. Platforms like MOQSH help students to develop their strategic thinking, critical reasoning and analytical skills. This is also aligned with the larger vision of Shiv Nadar University to develop student leaders with both the creativity and the breadth of knowledge and skills required to succeed in challenging 21stcentury careers”.
