Fifth Convocation of BSA Rahman University to Hold on 12th October
The Fifth Convocation of B.S. Abdur Rahman University will hold at 03.00 p.m. on Monday 12th October, 2015 to award the degrees to the Graduates of the following Programmes who graduated during May / July 2015.
• All Ph.D. Programmes.
• B.Tech. (CSE), B.Tech. (IT), B.Tech (Mech.), B.Tech. (Auto), B.Tech. (Aero.), B.Tech. (Polymer Engg.), B.Tech. (Mech.–Part Time).
• B.A. (Islamic Studies)
• M.Tech. (CSE), M.Tech. (Sortware Engg.), M.Tech. (IT), M.Tech. (Network Security), M.Tech.
(CAD–CAM), M.Tech. (Manufacturing), MCA and o M.Sc. (Actuarial Science), M.Sc. (Chemistry), M.Sc. (Micro biology) and M.Sc. (Genetics).
There will be a rehearsal at 11.00 a.m on the same day. Hence all the graduates of the above programmes who wish to receive the degree in person are requested to be present in the campus latest by 9.30 a.m. Registration will be closed by 10.30 a.m. Those who wish to receive their degrees in person must send a Demand Draft obtained in any nationalized bank for Rs 750/- drawn in favour of “The Registrar, B.S. Abdur Rahman University Chennai 48” payable at Chennai, said a press release from the University.
The students who wish to receive the degree in absentia either by post or through their parents shall send a sum of Rs 300/- in the form of a Bank draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, B.S.Abdur Rahman University, Chennai 48, along with a letter authorizing the parents to receive the degree on their behalf or requesting to send the degree to their address. For such graduates who do not attend the convocation, their degrees will be issued only from 15.10.2015 onwards, said the same press release.
The Chief Guest for the Convocation is Mr. Rajeev Rambalisingh Kumar, Global Head, Campus Hiring, Wipro Limited.
