Seven students from the Central University of South Bihar have been awarded the reputed ‘Gandhi Fellowship’. The selection of the candidates is based on their performance in a written test and an interview. The tests were conducted by the team of experts on 10th of March 2016.
The students who have been selected are Vijendra Dubey, Wali Shabina, Aprajita Pathak, Kumari Komal, Anjali Pandey, Ravi Prakash Gupta and Anu Bharti. The students have been selected for the session 2016-2018.
The reputed Gandhi Fellowship programme is offered by the Piramal Foundation. A fellow is supposed to work as a catalyst for social change and impacts the lives of at least thousand children. The scholars also interact and work with teachers, education officials and community members.
