The results of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017 will be announced on March 27, 2017, by Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee on the official website of GATE. GATE 2017 examination was successfully held on February 4, 5, 11 & 12, 2017. The candidates who took GATE 2017 are eagerly waiting for the official answer keys which will be released on the official website on February 27, 2017.

Once the results of GATE 2017 are declared, the candidates can download the scorecard from the GATE 2017 official site. The last date to download GATE 2017 admit card is May 26, 2017. GATE 2017 score is valid for three years. Through the GATE score, the candidates can take admission to PG engineering courses. The scores are also useful for recruitments by Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
On the other hand, GATE 2017 qualified candidates can obtain the softcopy of GATE 2047 scorecard after paying the prescribed fee. The fee to obtain the soft copy of GATE 2017 scorecard is Rs. 500 and can be paid through the official GOAPS website.
The timeline to obtain GATE 2017 soft copy of scorecard is May 26, 2017 to December 31, 2017. GATE 2017 qualified candidates need to understand that the hard copies of GATE 2017 scorecard will not be issued.
This year, around 9 lakh students took GATE 2017 examination from India as well as abroad. Students exclaimed that this year the exam was comparatively easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level.
