Result for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations for Arts and Commerce stream was declared by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB). Now the board has released the complete set of HSC results as the results for Science stream were already declared by the board. Seat number is required by the board to check the results. The students can check the results on the board’s official website.
The total pass percentage being 56.82, girls performed better than boys with pass percentage of 70.88 as compared to 47.28 of boys.
A total of 5,05,651 students appeared for the exams as both regular and re-appear students out of which 2,81,256 students passed.
Procedure to check the result:
- Step One: Go to official website of GSHSEB
- Step Two: Click on the link for HSC Arts and Commerce
- Step Three: Enter the seat number
- Step Four: Submit and view the result

Students are advised to cross-check the results with the original mark sheet as the results available online are provisional. Soon the board will release the official result booklet.
Gujarat Board declared the result for class 10th exam and GUJCET 2017 this month. With this, the series of result declaration by the board is complete. The admission process at many universities can now be started with the result declaration.

Among all the districts, where Surat recorded highest pass percentage at 73.85, Chhota Udepur district reported the least passing percentage of 30.81.
Average marks obtained by the majority of students were between 51-60 percent whereas a total of 257 students obtained more than 90 percent.
