Candidates aspiring for admission into bachelor's degree programmes in agriculture and allied sciences must submit their course and college preferences to be eligible for seat allotment. It must be noted that choice filling is an important step of the ICAR UG Counselling 2023 process which helps eligible admission seekers to make the right choices of courses and colleges, if not, they may end up being allotted to a college not as per the first preference or course. Post that, seat allotment results along with uploading of online documents will start from October 16, 2023, onwards for the academic session 2023-24.

ICAR UG Choice Filling 2023: Instructions to fill college options
Candidates must fill in their college options for ICAR UG 2023 by following the instructions mentioned below.
- Only those aspirants who are declared eligible for counselling can make the choice of their preferred courses or University before the deadline.
- The portal will display a list of only those universities whose eligibility qualifications are filled by the aspirants.
- Candidates are advised to fill in the maximum four choices.
- The entered choices for subjects and universities can be added, modified, or deleted within the stipulated time. Furthermore, provision for interchange, upward movement, and downward movement is permitted any number of times.
- After selecting, the ICAR UG web choices must be saved, and printouts must be taken if desired by the candidate.
- No updates in the choices can be made after the deadline which is October 15, 2023.
- In case the aspirant forgets to lock or save the entered options, the portal will automatically lock the list which is last entered by the candidate.
- Those candidates who will not provide the web options will not be considered for seat allotment and admission.
- Candidates’ choices will be processed by the authorities considering their merit rank and seat availability for seat allotment. Kindly note, that candidates will be informed via SMS or e-mail regarding their allotted University and course.
