ICSE Class 10 Exam Date 2024: The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the ICSE Class 10 Exam Date 2024 today, December 8  on its official website at cisce.org. The school board has released the ICSE Class 10 exam 2024 timetable for every subject in a PDF format on its portal. As per the official announcement released, the ICSE Class 10 Examination will start on February 21, 2024. The last date of the examination is March 28, 2024. More details about the timings and dates are discussed below.

ICSE Class 10 Exam Pattern 2024

As per the official announcement notice, ICSE Class 10 exams will be held in offline mode (pen and paper test) each year. For theory examinations (written tests), the duration is kept to 3 hours each. The exam pattern has been shared by the board for the papers as well.

Group I: Being the mandatory group, the marks weightage for each paper has been released to be 80 marks for the final examination and 20 marks from the internal assessments. The list of subjects from Group I of ICSE Class 10th are:

  • English
  • Second language
  • History
  • Civics
  • Geography

Group II: The Group 2 subjects for the Class 10th exam are optional but the marks weightage are the same as of Group 1:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
  • Mathematics
  • Environmental Science
  • Classical Language
  • Modern Foreign Language
  • Economics

Group III: Third-group subjects are also considered optional and one subject out of all will be chosen by the student. 50% of the marks are given to the final exam and the rest 50% to the internal exam.
