According to recent rankings released by Human Resource Ministry(HRD), IIM Lucknow has got a better rank than IIM Calcutta in terms of Packages given to students in placement. IIM Lucknow is overall ranked 4th in the management category of National Ranking Framework, but in terms of placement packages, it is better ranked college than IIM Calcutta at 3rd place.
IIM Banglore has 24.82 lakhs average placement in 2015 while in 2014 it was 29.64 lakhs, IIM Ahmedabad has got 28.76 lakhs average placement in 2015 which is better than 26.74 lakh of 2014. IIM Lucknow is at third place with the average placement of 17.80 lakhs in 2015, which was 16.07lakh in 2014.
Currently, IIM Lucknow is working on consultancy projects of 1.12crore rupees and sponsored research projects of 1.15 crore rupees.
IIM Lucknow is also better ranked college than IIM Calcutta in National Ranking Framework in terms of 'teaching' and 'industry experience'.
