IIM Trichy has received the HEF Leadership and Innovation Award 2020 in its 11th annual convention held on 29th February 2020. Prof. Bhimaraya Metri, the Director of IIM Trichy, accepted the award from Prasad Chandra, Chairman of SEEGOS, at the event.
The Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchirappalli (IIM Trichy) has been awarded the Leadership and Innovation Award 2020 by the Higher Education Forum (HEF). The institute was granted the award under the Business School category at its 11th yearly convention, which was organized in Mumbai on 29 February 2020.
Prasad Chandram, Chairman of SEEGOS, presented the award to Bhimaraya Metro, Director of IIM Trichy. SEEGOS is a social enterprise working with volunteers from the corporate sector as well as government organizations to promote the values of good governance and to help India become a developed nation in the next two decades.

At the event, Prof. Metri said the prominent industry and academic leaders have participated in the events hosted by IIM Trichy and invested in smart and sustainable infrastructure. He also provided insights on the institute's executive education programme. Prof. Metri said that IIM Trichy believes in the building of research ecosystems and investment in Centre for Applied Research in Data Science (CARDS), finance lab and behavioural lab.
