IISER Aptitude Test 2021 Question Paper

IISER Aptitude Test 2021:IISER Aptitude Test 2021 was conducted on September 17, 2021. The test was conducted for the candidates who are applying for admission to IISER through State & Central Boards Channel (SCB). The mode of the exam was online (Computer-Based Test). As per the feedback received by the students, the difficulty level of the paper was high. As compared to JEE Main & NEST exam, the paper was relatively difficult. There was multiple-choice questions in the exam in which 4 options were provided to each question and the candidates had to select one correct answer. There was a total of 60 questions in the exam. The exam was conducted for a total of 180 minutes. There were 4 sections in the test: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Equal weighting was given to each section. For each correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded and for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

IISER Aptitude Test 2021 Exam Analysis Highlights

Given below are some of the major highlights related to the IISER Aptitude Test 2021 Question Paper Analysis:

  • As compared to JEE Main & NEST exam, the paper was relatively difficult.
  • There were conceptual questions in Physics.
  • The questions were mostly asked from the 12th syllabus.
  • There were many questions from Organic Chemistry but the questions were not simple and a bit conceptual.
  • Questions were asked from 3D Geometry in Mathematics, there were fewer questions from integration, and most of the questions were from the 11th syllabus.
  • Most of the questions were of advanced level and very less direct questions were encountered.
  • More Questions were from the 12th Syllabus.
  • No direct questions were asked from NCERT.
