IIT Delhi and ZTE Telecom India have signed an MoU to offer scholarships to three UG students. The selection of candidates for the scholarship programme of ZTE Telecom will be based on candidates’ ranks in JEE Advanced, financial background and Cass 12th marks.
IIT Delhi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ZTE Telecom India Pvt. Ltd with an aim to offer scholarships to UG (Under Graduate) students. Under this scholarship scheme, three first-year UG students of IIT Delhi will be offered a scholarship of Rs. 1 lakh per annum, and the same will be offered for four years (full programme). Bright students from economically weaker families will be selected for the scholarship scheme.
CEO of ZTE India, Yan Xiao and Dean of Alumni Affairs and International Relations at IIT Delhi, Professor Sanjeev Sanghi has signed the MoU in the presence of senior professors of the premier institute. On this occasion, Professor Sanghi thanked ZTE India for offering scholarships to bright and poor students.
The admission process for UG (B.Tech) course offered by IIT Delhi is based on the performance of candidates in JEE Advanced examination. The selection of candidates for the scholarship programme of ZTE Telecom will be based on candidates’ ranks in JEE Advanced, financial background and Cass 12th marks.
The official information brochure for JEE Advanced 2020 has been released, and the exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 17, 2020. The online registrations for the advanced exam will begin from May 01, 2020.

JEE Main April 2020 results will be out on April 30, 2020, and the candidates who have cleared the cutoff for JEE Advanced will be declared eligible for the entrance exam.
