The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi released the admit cards for JEE Advanced 2020 on 21st September 2020, on its official website. JEE Advanced 2020 will take place on September 27, 2020.

JEE Advanced is conducted every year by the seven Zonal Coordinating (ZC) IITs under the main guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). JEE Advanced is conducted on a national-level for candidates seeking admission in Engineering and Architecture courses offered at ISM (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad and IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology). JEE Advanced 2020 is an online exam taken after JEE Mains, by only those candidates who qualify the JEE Main exam and feature in the list of top 2.25 lakh candidates.

JEE Advanced Conducting Body

Every year, the JEE Advanced examination is organised by one of the Seven Zonal IITs (short for Indian Institutes of Technology) under the guidance of the JAB (Joint Admission Board). The Joint Engineering Examination (JEE) Advanced is the entrance examination basis which candidates get admission in the Engineering, Science, Architecture programmes offered by IITs. The performance of a candidate in this examination forms the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Masters and Dual Degree programmes (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs. The JAB is the decision-making body of IIT admissions that introduces all the policies.
