About JEE Advanced 2022 (August 28)

IIT Bombay released theapplication form of JEE Advanced 2022 on August 8, 2022, at 4 PM. Earlier the JEE Advanced Application Form 2022 was supposed to be released on August 7, 2022, and JEE Advanced 2022 registration for foreign students started on August 1, 2022. The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has revised the JEE Advanced 2022 exam schedule. According to the new exam dates, JEE Advanced 2022 will now be held on August 28, 2022, rather than July 3, 2022. After registration closes, IIT Bombay will release the admit card of JEE Advanced 2022 on August 23, 2022. IIT Bombay is the organising institute for JEE Advanced 2022. IIT Kharagpur will conduct JEE Advanced 2022. Every year, the JEE Advanced examination is organized by one of the Seven Zonal IITs (short for Indian Institutes of Technology) under the guidance of the JAB (Joint Admission Board). JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced 2022 are the requirements that all candidates must meet in order to be considered for the exam and admission procedure.The requirement of a minimum of 75% in class 12 board exams or a ranking in the top 20 percentile in class 12 exams has been removed. Candidates who are determined to be ineligible for admission shall be disqualified. Therefore, students are recommended to examine the JEE Advanced eligibility requirements carefully before submitting their application form to avoid any future inconsistencies. The following are the JEE Advanced 2022 eligibility criteria



Age Limit

Candidates in the general category must have been born on or after October 1, 1997. Candidates from the SC/ST/PWD categories are given a 5-year age relaxation.

Qualifying Examination

A candidate must have first taken the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination in either 2021 or 2022, with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates who took Class 12 (or equivalent) for the first time in 2020 or earlier are NOT eligible to take JEE (Advanced) 2022.

JEE Main 

Candidates must have passed the JEE Main examination and rank among the top 2,50,000 in the ranking list. Candidates must also meet the cutoff for admission to IITs. Overall, 10% of general EWS category candidates will be shortlisted, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5 percent for ST, and the remaining 40.5 percent is available to everyone.

JEE Advanced 2022 Application Form

The application form of JEE Advanced 2022 is released on August 8, 2022 (4 pm) till August 11, 2022 (5 pm). IIT Bombay is in charge of releasing application forms for 2022. Students must first register on the official website before filling out the application form. According to the JEE Advanced exam pattern 2022, the exam will be held online and will consist of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both papers will be three hours long. According to reports, the JEE Advanced syllabus will most likely remain the same as the previous year. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will begin centralized JEE Advanced 2022 counselling and JEE advanced seat allotment 2022 on September 12, 2022.
