JEE Advanced is conducted every year by the seven Zonal Coordinating (ZC) IITs under the main guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). JEE Advanced is conducted on a national level for candidates seeking admission in Engineering and Architecture courses offered at ISM (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad and IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology). JEE Advanced is an online exam taken after JEE Mains, by only those candidates who clear the JEE Main exam and feature in the list of top 2.50 lakh candidates.

JEE Advanced Conducting Body

IIT Kharagpur will conduct JEE Advanced 2022. Every year, the JEE Advanced examination is organized by one of the Seven Zonal IITs (short for Indian Institutes of Technology) under the guidance of the JAB (Joint Admission Board). The Joint Engineering Examination (JEE) Advanced is the entrance examination basis on which candidates get admission in the Engineering, Science, Architecture programmes offered by IITs. The performance of a candidate in this examination forms the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Masters, and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs. The JAB is the decision-making body of IIT admissions that introduces all the policies.

The admission to IIT Delhi will be done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in JEE Advanced 2020 exam. The JEE Advanced exam is expected to be conducted on August 23, 2020, after which the admission will be done on the basis of JOSAA counselling.
