International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-H) and Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT-H) will be organising a student hackathon from 15th July 2018 that will include several cultural, events and workshops to promote cultural diversity among the students and to enhance their skills.
The Student Hackathon will mainly consist of four main events. The first event is a Megathon which will start from 15th July and continue till12th August 2018. The theme of the Megathon is Women’s Safety and is being organised in association with various NGOs such as SAFA India, Youngistaan Foundation, Being Woman. HackerEarth will be hosting the event on their online platform.

The second event is the Road to Marathon 18 which will take place from 8th to 9th September at IIT Hyderabad. It will include workshops to develop the technical and entrepreneurial skills in students. The workshop will cover a wide range of topics from Android Development to Ethical Hacking, to Machine Learning to IoT.
The third event is the Onsite Megathon 18 which will be held on 29th & 30 September 2018 and would cover Corporate Challenges and will be held at IIIT Hyderabad.
The fourth and the final event of the Student Hackathon is the Business Hack will be organized in February 2019 at IIT Hyderabad campus.
