Indian Institute of Hyderabad, popularly known as IITH, was established in 2008 and is a rather new IIT. IIT Hyderabad offers B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in ten Engineering courses, B.Des. and M.Des. degrees in Design and MSc degrees in science. In 2019, the institute started offering M. A. in Development Studies. The institute also offers PhD in engineering, sciences, and Liberal Arts. It takes admission through entrance exams like JEE Advanced, UCEED, GATE, IIT JAM, CEED, etc. Admission for MTech for this year has closed, GATE applications for 2026 will start from August 2025 and the exam will be conducted in February 2026.
