Documents Required for Admission

It is important for the IIT JAM 2022 aspirants to bring all the documents as required for the admission process. Students failing to arrange all the required documents in the required format will be rejected by the admission authority. The following documents are required by the students for the IIT JAM admission process:

10th and 12th mark sheet with clear grades over the sheet: original and photocopy

• Bachelors/Graduation degree: Photocopy and Original
  Copy of the admission form filled by the student

• Fee receipt obtained by the student after paying the advanced seat booking fee for admission.

• Category certificate for reservation category students

• Recent passport-sized photograph

• Scanned signature of the student

IIT JAM 2022 Admission Fee for Advanced Booking

The students will have to pay a specific advanced fee at the time of releasing the admission list. The fee will be taken as the advanced seat reservation for admission and will be adjusted in the semester fee of the student for the respective institution. IIT JAM 2022 Admission Process

To opt for admission through IIT JAM 2022, the students will have to fill the admission form online. Applicants will also have to upload the required documents while filling the admission form and pay an amount of 600 for the application. Based on the qualifying mark sheet uploaded and IIT JAM marks obtained by the student, the admission list will be released.

If after the 1st admission list, the seats remain vacant for admission, the admission authority will release the 2nd admission list for IIT JAM aspirants. The process for IIT JAM 2nd admission list 2020 will go through the following procedure:

1. The students will need to go to the official website of JOAPS and check the 2nd admission list by entering their enrolment id and password.

2. If the student has his/her name in the 2nd admission list, he/she will visit the JOAPS website and login to their portal with the help of id and password.

3. Further, the students will have to choose one option. There will be a total of 3 options:

   1. Accept and Freeze

   2. Reject and Quit

   3. Accept with Upgrade

4. Students who do not want to continue with the admission can choose the reject and quit option to opt out of IIT JAM admission. After choosing the option, a One Time Password (OTP) will be generated for the student’s number.

5. Students who are not having their name listed in the 2nd admission list and want to pay the seat booking fee for the 3rd admission list can go for the Accept with Upgrade option.

6. After opting for the preferable option, the students have to pay the advanced booking fee through the online payment mode.

7. After the payment, the students will have to visit the college to complete the final admission process.
