IIT Kanpur has released the GATE 2023 Electrical Engineering (EE) syllabus. Here the candidates can check the GATE 2023 section-wise syllabus for Electrical Engineering.
IIT Kanpur has released the GATE 2023 Electrical Engineering (EE) syllabus. Apart from the Electrical Engineering syllabus, the exam conducting authority has published the stream-wise syllabus at the gate.iitk.ac.in. No new changes will be visible in the GATE 2023 exam. The candidates should have a fair knowledge of the IIT Kanpur 2023 GATE 2023 EE syllabus, while they boost up themselves for preparation. The GATE 2023 exam is scheduled to be held on February 4, 5, 11 and 12.

GATE 2023 Exam Pattern
GATE 2023 exam will be held in the online mode (a computer-based test). There will be a total of 29 papers and the total duration of time of the exam will be 180 minutes. Go through the GATE 2023 exam pattern here in the following section.
- Sections: General Aptitude and the Paper selected by the candidates
- Nature of the questions: Recall, Comprehension, Application, Analysis and Synthesis
- Total marks: 100
- Type of the questions: MCQs, MSQs and NAT
- Language of the questions: English
- Marks distribution in EE: 15 marks for General Aptitude and 85 for Subject Specific
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark and 2 marks questions
- ⅓ deduction for wrong attempt for 1 mark MCQ
- ⅔ deduction for wrong attempt
- No negative marking for NAT and MSQ questions
- No sectional time limit is there
