Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota (ISRO and SDSC SHAR) has published a recruitment notice for teaching posts - PRT (Primary Teacher), PGT (Post Graduate Teacher), and TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) in the employment section of the newspaper on August 6, 2022, as well as on its official website - sdsc.shar.gov.in.
Interested candidates are invited to apply in online mode on the official website. The application window was opened on August 6, 2022, and will continue till August 28, 2022. The authorities will call all applicants for a Computer Based Test (CBT) and the exam will be conducted in various parts of the country. Eligible candidates will receive an intimation for the written test or skill test on their registered email address.
The final stage of selection will be conducted on the basis of marks scored by candidates in the written test and from candidates who have passed the skill test.

ISRO Teacher Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification for ISRO Teachers are stated below:
- PGT- Integrated Post Graduate with at least 50% marks in aggregate or a Master's Degree from any recognised university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics B.Ed. or equivalent degree from any recognised university. One must also be proficient enough to teach in an English medium school.
- TGT- Four years integrated degree course with a minimum of 50% in aggregate or a Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in Hindi with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. B.Ed or equivalent degree from any recognised university. The candidate must also be CTET qualified and have enough proficiency in English to teach in an English medium school.
- PRT- Senior Secondary/ equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ equivalent or senior education/ equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. A 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) or Graduation with 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree. CTET qualified. Must also have proficiency in English to be able to teach in the English medium.
