JBIMS Makes Changes in Eligibility Criteria for MMS 2017-19

Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) announced that there would be some changes in the admission process of Masters in Management Studies or the MMS programme from the academic session 2017-18.

Earlier, the admission to MMS programme was carried out through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.

This year, the institute will shortlist the candidates according to their CAT 2016 or MAH-CET 2017 score. The shortlisted candidates have to attend a personal assessment round which is conducted by JBIMS. The selection will take place as per the performance of the candidates in the personal assessment round.

Eligibility: -

The candidates who are interested in pursuing MMS programme at JBIMS must possess a Bachelors degree in any discipline. The minimum qualifying marks for General category is 50% whereas 45% for reserved and PH categories.

Similarly, the candidates must have a valid MAH-CET 2017 or CAT 2016 scores. NRI/Foreign candidates must have a valid GMAT score.

Application Process & Fee: -

The application process for the admission to MMS programme will be announced soon. The candidates have to apply only through the official website.

The cost of application for General category is Rs. 1500 and for Reserved category is Rs. 1,000. The application fee can be paid online.

Selection Procedure: -

The candidates will be selected as per their performance in personal assessment round. However, qualifying MAH-CET 2017 or CAT 2016 is mandatory to be eligible for personal assessment round. Additionally, the candidate’s previous academic background will also be taken into consideration.
