The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2017 has declared the result for the 4th round of seat allotment on the basis of JEE Advanced and JEE Mains 2017. Candidates who had applied for the 4th round of counselling can check their seat allocation status on the official website of JoSAA.
The result for the 4th round of counselling has been provided by JoSAA on its official website and the candidates can check the result by clicking on the link. The link will direct you to go to the login page where you can check the seat status by entering your JEE Mains 2017 roll number and password.
Candidates who are satisfied with the 4th round of seat allotment must report at the designated centre and pay their acceptance fee.
Also, it is necessary for the candidates to report at the allotted colleges (except at NIT, IIEST, IIIT and GFTI) in order to get their documents verified. Seats will not be confirmed unless the verification is done.

JoSAA Counselling and Seat Allocation 2017 was pushed behind schedule due to the grace marks controversy. The process was delayed due to a petition filed in Supreme Court regarding the grace marks that should have been awarded to students for the misprinting of questions on part of the IITs.

However, the SC granted permission to the IITs to continue seat allocation procedure later. The result of the 3rd round of counselling was released July 10, 2017.
