The authorities of JEE has met the officials of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to resolve the issue. UIDAI has requested JEE authority to share the list of cities where the examination will take place. According to the list of cities, UIDAI will set up facilitation centres. The candidates can visit the facilitation centre in their cities to register for Aadhar Card. The candidates have to fill the application form for JEE Main 2017 only after registering for Aadhar.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched the official website of JEE Main 2017 on November 18, 2016. However, the website mentioned that the candidates only with Aadhar card or number are eligible to apply for the examination. During the process of filling applications, the candidates have to enter the Aadhar number, and UIDAI's server will validate the information given by candidates in the application form. Hence, the candidates have to see that the details in the Aadhar Card are correct as per school records. In case if there is any mismatch, the candidates will have to get it corrected immediately.

Cool, interesting and funny. An ardent lover of animals and gets a kick out of Chetan Bhagat and Amish Tripathi novels. My favourite novel is 'The God of Small Things' written by Arundathi Roy.
