NTA Award Marks to Dropped Questions in JEE Main Final Answer Key 2023Marks for Dropped Questions in JEE Main 2023: The National Testing Agency has dropped the 10 questions from the JEE Main final answer key session 2. The candidates raised objections against the JEE Main 2023 session 2 provisional answer key for those questions. The dropped questions will lead the session 2 students to carry additional marks.
As per the NTA officials, for Section A, if a question is dropped, then the candidates will be awarded +4 if the question is unattempted and +5 if the question is attempted. This process will be applied if none of the options is found correct or the question has seemed to be wrong. For section B, if one question is found to be wrong, then the candidates, who attempted those questions, will get +4 marks for those questions. Due to human error or technical error, such a situation could occur.
