JEE Main January 2023 Day 5: National Testing agency successfully concluded Day 5 Shift 1 today 30th January 2023. Candidates who have appeared for the exam gave mixed reactions where the overall difficulty level of the question paper stands at moderate to difficult compared to the previous day's question paper. The mathematics section received a similar reaction moderate to difficult as the question paper was lengthy. The physics and chemistry section was easy to moderate but difficult from the previous day's paper. 

In Maths there were 2-3 questions from binomial, 4 questions from vector and 3D geometry, and 4-5 questions from coordinate geometry. Apart from that, there were questions from differential equations, PNC, probability, and more. In physics, there were questions about kinematics, unit dimension, magnetism, electrostatics and more. In the chemistry section inorganics chemistry had higher weightage compared to organic and physical chemistry.

As per the reaction received by the Unacademy, The overall difficulty level of the question paper was moderate to difficult. The mathematical section was lengthy and difficult, The physics section received mixed reactions between moderate to difficult. Compared to Day 2 and Day 4 the physics section was difficult (claimed by multiple students). The chemistry section received a similar reaction between easy to moderate. In chemistry, there were more than 10 questions from inorganic chemistry, 4-5 from organic chemistry and the rest of the questions were from physical chemistry.

As per the reaction by Neha Agrawal Mathematically, Students have a mixed reaction on the mathematics as few found the question paper to be moderate while others found the paper to be difficult and lengthy. The physics section came as a surprise as many students claimed that the physics section was moderate to difficult. 30% of the questions in physics were application based which increased the toughness level of the exam. Lastly, the chemistry section was easy to moderate. Overall the difficulty level of the exam was moderate to difficult.

As per the reaction received by One dream institute JEE, Compared to the previous day's papers the physics section was difficult. The mathematics section was moderate to difficult. In chemistry, there were more questions from inorganic chemistry and the integers-based question from physical chemistry. Overall the difficulty level of the paper was moderate to difficult.
