JEE Main 2023 Question Paper: Admit card issue
Many students have received their admit cards for Jan 31 exam while many others have not. If these issues persist, NTA is likely to reschedule their examination over the reserved dates of February 2 or 3. However, no official confirmation on it has yet been obtained. Last year, NTA had rescheduled CUET UG for those students who had faced technical issues.

JEE Main 30 Jan Shift 1: First Reactions (Mathematics)
There were 3 questions from Vectors & 3D, 1 question from Sequence & Series, 1 question from Mathematical Reasoning, 3 to 4 questions from calculus. There were no questions from indefinite integrals but there were from definite integrals. Maths today was slightly easier when compared to the earlier shifts of the session.

JEE Main 30 Jan Shift 1: First Reactions (Chemistry)
There were only numericals from physical chemistry and no theory questions. Equal weightage was given to organic and inorganic chemistry. There was 1 question from Biomolecules, 1 question from Metallurgy, and 2 questions from p-block. Overall, chemistry was a bit on the difficult side when compared to other shifts but still of a moderate difficulty level.

JEE Main January 2023: Students urge NTA and BSEB to reschedule Feb 1
After NTA rescheduled JEE Main January 2023 session on February 1, there are many students whose Bihar Board Mathematics paper clashes with JEE Main Feb 1 Shift 1 paper. Such students have been urging NTA as well as BSEB to reschedule their exams so they do not have to skip JEE Main January attempt to attend their Maths board paper. However, so far, there has been no response from either of the authorities.

For the exams on 30 Jan and 1 Feb, the admit cards are still not released. Although NTA said the issue will be resolved today itself, even as late as Jan 30 evening, the admit cards are not yet released. NTA helpline numbers are not working as well and no further response than today morning has been received from the NTA.

The National Testing Agency earlier today took to Twitter to respond to the concerns of students whose exam is on January 31 and February 1 but have not yet received their admit cards. Replying to tweets by the concerned students, the agency said, "Please don't worry. The issue will be resolved today. An email was sent earlier also."

As per the initial reactions of the students, 4 to 5 questions were from coordinate geometry. and 4 questions were from vectors & 3D. A similar weightage pattern was also observed before.

JEE Main Expected Cutoff 2023
The cutoff for the exam will be released along with the release of the Session 2 results only. The cutoff is not declared separately for each session. Students can expect the general category cutoff to be around 87-88 percentile while it reduces to around 67-68 percentile for OBC and 63-65 percentile for EWS. As the National Testing Agency has not yet released the admit cards for the exams on January 31 and February 01, many students have been very worried and stressed, and also, there is a lot of confusion among the students. However, such students need not worry as the NTA will release the admit cards for these students today itself and the expected time for the release of the admit cards is around 1 or 2 PM. JEE Main Question Paper 2023: Documents Required on Exam Day
Students need to carry their JEE Main 2023 admit card, valid photo ID proof, self-declaration form, one passport-size photograph, and PwD certificate if applicable. While documents such as PAN card, driving license, voter's card, passport, college ID card, etc. are also accepted as valid photo ID proof, there have been reports that some centres are only accepting Aadhar card as valid ID proof. Hence, unless unavailable, students are strongly advised to carry their Aadhar card only as valid ID proof. It must be original. Xerox copy will not be considered.

JEE Main 2023 Question Paper 30 Jan: Chemistry Shift 2 Expectations
Out of the six shifts, in five shifts, Chemistry was completely NCERT-based and in the one shift it was not, its difficulty level was still moderate like the rest of the five shifts. Students can expect more from the organic chemistry section in the MCQs (9-12 questions) and fewer questions from inorganic chemistry (7-8 questions). About 1-2 questions in MCQs are likely to come from physical chemistry while the NAT section will mostly be dominated by physical chemistry.
