JEE Main 2023 question paper PDF is available on this page. JEE Main 2023 was conducted in two sessions: Session 1 from January 24 to February 1, 2023, and Session 2 from April 6 to 15, 2023. The exam pattern for both sessions remained the same, with each subject (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) having two sections: Section A with 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and Section B with 10 numerical answer type (NAT) questions.

The overall difficulty level of the JEE Main 2023 question paper was moderate, with a mix of direct and conceptual questions. Physics was considered to be the most challenging section, while Mathematics was on the easier side. Chemistry was generally balanced in terms of difficulty level.

What is the format of the JEE Main 2023 question paper?

The JEE Main 2023 question paper consists of three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each subject has two sections: Section A and Section B. Section A consists of 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and Section B consists of 10 numerical answer type (NAT) questions. Candidates have to attempt any five questions from Section B.

What is the marking scheme for the JEE Main 2023 question paper?

In JEE Main 2023 question paper, each MCQ question carries 4 marks, and each NAT question carries 5 marks. There is negative marking for incorrect answers in Section A, with one mark being deducted for each incorrect answer. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in Section B.
