54 Students from Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) Clear UPSC Civil Services Exam

UPSC mains results for IAS, IFS, and IPS were declared on 14 January 2020 which was conducted in the month of September 2019. Among all the students who qualified the examination, 54 students from Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) qualified the mains examination. Last year 44 students from the same university-qualified UPSC Mains Examination including third rank holder Junaid Ahmad. UPSC mains qualified students will appear for an interview which will be conducted in the month of February 2020.

Since 2010, Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), JMI has helped 190 students to qualify top level exams like IAS, IFS, IPS, IRS, IRT conducted by UPSC.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) mains was conducted for the post of IAS, IFS, IPS as well as Central Services under Group 'A' and Group 'B' category. The main results was declared on Tuesday.

One of the officials of JMI indicated that based on the vacancy, students are provided free accommodation, classroom programmes and access to libraries in addition to the university's commitment to the nation’s development, They also added that a few more eligible candidates who have qualified for the interview will be admitted at JMI.

Apart from this around 245 candidates from RCA, JMI joined reputed posts like Provincial Civil Services for the post of SDM/ DSP), RBI (Grade- B), Bank PO, Assistant Commandant (CAPF), IB and Assistant Commissioner (Provident Fund).
