KEA has released the mock allotment result of KCET 2021 on November 18. All the candidates who had successfully filled the choices before the last date are eligible for mock allotment. The applicants must note that the mock allotment gives a basic idea of the actual/ real seat allotment result, and it’s not final. Candidates who did not get an allotment in the mock round can alter/ edit the college options accordingly. However, checking the previous years’ KCET cutoff/ closing ranks will help you in choosing the right colleges as per your rank. Steps to Check KCET 2021 Mock Allotment

The candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to check the mock allotment result of KCET 2021 –

Step 1

Click on the direct available on this page or visit the official website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in

Step 2

You will need to enter the CET Number and Captcha Code to Login

Step 3

Your mock allotment result will be displayed on the screen

Step 4

Based on the mock allotment result, you can edit the choices accordingly

Step 5

If you are editing the options, it is important to ‘Save’ the choices and logout

Instructions to Edit Choices after KCET 2021 Mock Allotment

Here are some of the instructions to edit college options after checking the KCET 2021 mock allotment –

  • If your mock allotment result is as per the first choice, there is no need to edit the choices
  • If your mock allotment result is as per the second or other choices, you will need to check the mock allotment cutoff, previous years’ KCET cutoff and tally the same with your rank. Make a list of colleges that fall under your rank zone and edit the options accordingly
  • If you did not get an allotment in the mock round, you will need to check the mock round cutoff of the colleges that you opted for as the first five choices, check previous years’ cut off and make a list of colleges that fall under your rank zone. Further, edit the options accordingly

November 19, 2021, 9:20 AM: The first round seat allotment result of KCET 2021 will be released on November 23

November 18, 2021, 6:17 PM: Candidates who completed document verification and did not fill choices for first-round must note that November 20 is the last date for the same
