Directorate of Technical Education, Kerala will soon open the admission process for Diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic) courses for the academic session 2019-20. DTE will conduct admission process for 100% seats in 45 government polytechnic colleges and 85% seats in government-aided, private and self-financing colleges. Kerala Polytechnic Admissions 2019 Eligibility Criteria

DTE Kerala has the authority to determine the eligibility criteria for Kerala Polytechnic admissions 2019. The eligibility criteria for Kerala Polytechnic admissions 2019 can be checked below -

• The applicants must have passed THSLC/ SSLC to be eligible for the admission.
• The applicants must have studied English, Mathematics and Science as the compulsory subjects in SSLC/ THSLC.
• Candidates who have appeared for supplementary exams to secure eligibility for higher studies for more than two times are not eligible for the admission to polytechnic courses.

Here is the detailed application process for Kerala Polytechnic admissions 2019 -

• The applicants must visit the official polytechnic admission portal of DTE Kerala.
• Click on ‘Apply Online’ link on the official website to submit the online application form.
• The candidates can also visit the nearest helpdesk centres at polytechnic colleges in their locality to submit the online application form.
• The application fee for General Category is Rs. 150 and Rs. 75 for ST/ SC categories.
• While submitting the online application for polytechnic courses, it is advisable to exercise at least 30 options (colleges) for any combination of courses and institutes.
• Take the print out of application form after the submission.
• DTE will provide a register number to the candidates along with the printout of application form.
