All these six boys belong to different cities and met at the coaching centre for the first time two years ago. All of them actively participated in classroom discussions and tests in a prompt manner that clearly showed their will to score well. They used to secure similar scores in the mock test and practice sessions mostly all the time.
All of them supported and guided each other whenever one was in doubt or wasn't able to understand concepts. Bhaskar Gupta, one of the students, in an interview with a leading daily, explained that they always motivated each other and remained together even at the time of stress. Although they were staying away from their family but being together while working towards a common goal made stronger and confident to fight and stand depression and pressure.
Navneel, another group member, said that they opted the formula 'when in doubt, discuss it'. They used to discuss study material and relevant topics in their free time. Clearing doubts with the teachers and discussing the same in the group, was one task that all the six friends used to do on a regular basis.
Yash Gupta and Lay Jain who were residents of Kota stayed back with their friends a number of times when required. Both the boys have taken part in the Asian Physics Olympiad held in Vietnam while the other four have started their preparation of JEE Advanced, which will be conducted on 20 May 2018.
