Kerala University of Veterinary Sciences has launched an online portal/domain called ‘WISDOM’. It stands for ‘Worldwide Information Sharing Domain’. This domain has been launched to promote ‘One Health’. This domain comprises of articles, news, and events related to One Health. The updates are done on a monthly basis and it serves as an interactive platform.
One Health deals about the inseparable co-existence of humans, pet animals, wildlife, and others. Various professional groups around the world can share articles and events related to One Health.
This domain will also serve as a medium for One Health Day to be celebrated on 3rd November. This day is observed as One Health Day every year. It is an international campaign which is supported by One health Commission, United States. This domain will be serving as an information source for various people about human beings and animals.
The portal was launched by Dr. P. Sethu Madhavan, Director of Entrepreneurship. The University has developed this portal to exhibit the activities during the forthcoming One Health Day and-and to generate an inspiring array of projects. By using this portal anyone can publish the articles related to the theme and serve the domain as an interactive platform.
